If an opera organization is not producing “Grand Opera” in a performance hall that seats a 1,000+ opera lovers, it’s not a legitimate opera company, right? Below you will find opera companies of all types. We believe that Opera represents raw human emotions raised to the highest level, represented through music and it does not matter if it is performed in a black box theater or the Met. Opera survives when the audience connects to a performance, irregardless to the actual performance space.
