Largo al factotum – Barber of Seville – Rossini

OperaPulse’s Aria of the Week - Figaro is one of the most widely recognized opera characters and his aria from Rossini’s Barber of Seville, Largo al factotum (“Make way for the servant”), has, no doubt, been the aria used most in cartoons. For some people, their one and only opera reference may come from this aria! So, we thought it was about time to compare the many baritones that have performed this famous and extremely difficult aria.
