Based in New York City, Evan was recently seen as the title role in the world premiere of Song of Solomon at the Player's Theatre off Broadway. He actively performs concert and oratorio works throughout the northeast. Credits include Nemorino (L'Elisir d'Amore), Frederic (Pirates of Penzance), Tamino (The Magic Flute), Tony (West Side Story), Danny (Grease!), Candide (Candide), Sylivio (Le Docteur Miracle), Guard 2 (Dead Man Walking), Don Ramiro* (Cenerentola), Man with the Old Luggage (Postcard from Morocco), and Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi). Evan has made mainstage appearances with Opera on Tap, Connecticut Opera, Opera on the James, CoOpera of Manhattan, Fort Worth Opera, Opera Company of Middlebury, Teatro Bramante and the Seagle Music Colony. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina's Master of Music in Opera Performance and currently studies with Jack Li Vigni in New York. As a founding member of OperaPulse.com, Evan finds a voice as an active writer for the platform. He is also writing the lyrics to a new Broadway show commissioned by The Telling Company in NYC. Upcoming engagements include a world premiere opera, The Inner Circle, with Opera on Tap in Brooklyn, NY in fall of 2016. When life isn't all song, you can often find Evan with his nose deep in glass of wine or trying to find a pool to lose races in.
